Scotland, here we come!
We’ve been installing solar & battery systems across England and Wales since 2022, but our mission has always been to make the power of solar accessible to all homes in the UK.
By expanding into Scotland off the back of our latest successful funding round, we’re one step closer to reaching that goal.
Scottish households can now cut their energy bills with our revolutionary solar subscription, Sunsave Plus, which completely removes the upfront cost of going solar.
Where in Scotland do we install?
We now install in the south of Scotland, all the way up to – and including – Dundee and Perth in the east, and Dumbarton in the west.
This of course includes the two biggest cities in the country, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and we’re also serving large towns like East Kilbride, Livingston, and Paisley.

So whether you’re in Dumfries or Dunfermline, Glenrothes or Greenock, we can help you switch to solar with no upfront cost.
And there’s more good news: we’re aiming to roll out coverage across the whole of Scotland in the not-too-distant future.
Are solar panels worth it in Scotland?
Solar panels have proven pretty popular in Scotland, with more than one in 20 households having already made the switch, according to government data and our calculations.
It’s absolutely worth it, too – the country’s solar irradiance is quite similar to large parts of England.
And the further north you go, the later the sun sets in summer, which means more daylight during the most productive part of the year for solar homes.
We’re excited to see our first Scottish installations over the coming weeks and months. If you’re based in Scotland and fancy making the switch to solar, you can sign up here.
